Cambridge Asset Manager Monitor Analysis©
Cambridge Asset Manager Monitor Analysis© is a proprietary program for analyzing investment performance that is academically and professionally sophisticated yet clearly communicated and easily understood by fiduciaries.
When should a fund manager be replaced?
The Cambridge Asset Manager Monitor Analysis© is designed to identify managers who provide returns in excess of their benchmarks on a consistent, risk adjusted basis. Thus, on a quantitative basis, it evaluates long term returns as well as short term returns but is weighted in favor of long term performance to reduce, for example, the impact of one or two recent quarters which can be volatile.
The Cambridge Asset Manager Monitor Analysis© is designed as an evaluation tool and does not set an absolute standard. Accordingly, it is an appropriate enhancement to place on watch managers whose returns are below their benchmark for two consecutive quarters.
