Cafeteria Plans
A written benefit plan maintained by an employer. All participants are employees. Each participant has the opportunity to choose among two or more benefits consisting of cash (a taxable benefit) and qualified nontaxable benefits. A cafeteria plan must offer both a cash benefit and at least one statutory nontaxable benefit.
